Multiple monthly meetings were conducted maintly in discussion for the collection of MPH construction fund.
MPH Construction Fund Donation Box was created to allow residents and other public personnel to contribute to MPH Construction Fund as they wishes upon visiting premises applicable. The donation box was located in in various restaurant, mini markets, dobby premises and musollah around Putra Heights areas and other surrounding areas such as Subang Jaya, Kg. Tengah, Bukit Lanchong, Shah Alam and Puchong.
The MPH Construction Fund committee decided to create a brochure as a medium to inform all residents about the initiative. Upon that, it also provided some options for residents to contribute to the fund.
The MPH Construction Fund committee also created the Wakaf Certificate for selling to anyone who wishes to donate to the construction fund. The Wakaf Certificate was available in few denomination such as MYR 20, MYR 50, MYR 100 and MYR 500.
MPH Construction Fund also actively in discussion with various agencies in order to make sure all plans are been executed in a propeer procedure. Other than that, to further encourage and as a continuous follow up to the respective agencies in completing their task according to the planned timeline. Those agencies mentioned are Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Office, Land Office, Sime Darby, Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor (JAIS), Majlis Agama Islam Selangor (MAIS) and Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya (MPSJ).
In order to cultivate the feel of ownership of the future MPH mosque to all residents, MPH Construction Fund committee launched a campaign for MYR 2,000 contribution per family or per household in Putra Heights. The estimated numbers of muslim family in Putra Heights is about 2,000 families. This will be able to generate fund approximately MYR 4,000,000.
Sembang-sembang Restaurant is one of the restaurant which is situated in Putra Perdana, Putra Heights. They agreed to join forces with MPH Construction Fund committee to do a eat and pay charity sale drive. Menus covering breakfast, lunch and evening tea are prepared and all fund collected are channelled 100% directly to MPH Construction Fund.
MPH Construction Fund organized a charity drive at every Ramadhan annually in order to capture the spirit of giving during the holy month. Multiple initiative were done such as donation box at the weekend market Putra Heights, the sale of Male Muslim Headgears, the sale of Hari Raya Gift Envelop, the sale of Wakaf Certificate, Perbadanan Wakaf Selangor (PWS) Donation and others.
Ustaz Azhar idrus is a well-known Malaysian Free Preacher ("Pendakwah Bebas") that have millions of followers. MPH Construction Fund committee managed to arranged a schedule with Ustaz Azhar Idrus and to invited him to conduct a prime talk ("ceramah perdana") with a topic of Heaven Keys ("Anak Kunci Syurga") in Putra Heights. The prime talk topic was carefully selected in-line with our initiative in order to encourage attendees and listeners to contribute to MPH Construction Fund. The prime talk was conducted in Surau Baiturrahman, Seksyen 9, Putra Heights. There were huge turnout on that night and there were also several foods and various merchandise hawkers also setup thier shop outside of the surau which makes it a very cheerful and harmonious event to all attendees.
First ever golf edition that was created by MPH Construction Fund committee. The objective is to raise fund for MPH and to be able to get corporate individuals and organizations to contribute to the MPH Construction Fund. It was held at Kelab Golf Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, Shah Alam, Selangor Darul Ehsan.
"Kami Peduli Kami Prihatin" was a dinner and talkshow event with 2 major objective; which are to help raise donation for the flood victims in Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Perak & Johor and to raise fund for MPH Construction Fund. The event was officiated by YAB DATO' SERI MOHAMED AZMIN BIN ALI, Selangor Chief Minister. Other VIP that was present during the event was Almarhum YB Tuan Hj. Shuhaimi Shafiei, DUN Kota Raja and Dato' Hj. Emran Hj. Kadir, Dato' Orang Kaya Maha Bijaya Petaling, OBD Petaling. Special guess for the talkshow session was Ustaz Haryanto Rizal and Ustazah Asni Mansor. It was moderated by a Malaysian actress, Diana Amir. The event took place at the Grand Ballroom, The Place @ OneCity. Overall emcee for the night was Ustaz Fakarudin and Puan Abbi Fana.
MPH Construction Fund Committee brainstorming session was created in order to find new ideas for new activities that can generate additional fund to meet the required targetted value. The brainstorming session was sponsored by a corporate individuals.
MPH Construction Fund organized a Happy Eid celebration or also known as "Sambutan Hari Raya" for Putra Heights Community. During the event, MPH Construction Fund committee also took the opportunity to portray all the infomation and the status of the MPH fund. This is to further encourage residents whom attend to contribute to the fund. Other events such karaoke, durian eating, Eid food buffet and roast lamb were also made available during the event.
Putra Heights Charity Golf Challenge 2015 is the second edition of golf tournament that MPH Construction Fund committee organized. The objective is still the same which was to collect fund for MPH Construction. It was held in Glenmarie Golf and Country Club.
MPH Constrcution Fund committee were given the opportunity to participate in the "Bestari" Community Carnival Putra Heights that was organized by Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya (MPSJ) and Jawatankuasa Penduduk Zon 7 (JKP Zon 7). MPH Construction Fund committee were given a booth space to portray all the information and collection status of MPH. We did also provide donation box and wakaf certificate for public to do thier contribution.
MAKNA Charity Golf 2016 was the third series of golf tournament that was organized by MPH Construction Fund committee. It was done in collaboration with National Cancer Council Malaysia (MAKNA). In that sense some portion collected from the tournament will be donated to MAKNA. The golf tournament also were sponsored by several corporate companies, which were Berita Harian, Proton Edar Sdn. Bhd., Sime Darby Property, Exim Bank of Malaysia Bhd., Pejabat DUN Sri Muda, Bank Rakyat, Tenaga Nasional Bhd., Utusan Melayu (M) Bhd., Pengurusan Aset Air Bhd. dan Tradewinds Corporation Bhd.
Since MPH is about to complete its construction phase, MPH Construction Fund Committee decided to do a study tours to mosque in Singapore. The main reason for this trip was to learn how mosque in Singapore being managed as a self sustainable mosque. MPH Committee managed to learn about the organization structure, source of income, activities including multi-faith programmes, mosque design relevance, mosque history, facilities, services, multiracial community aspects, mosque management, public donation, marketing & communications, Singapore government involvement and learn about perspective from a minority Muslim community. It was an eye opener trip and managed to spark new ideas for future MPH organization structure, governance, activities, marketing, online communications and mosque management. Other than that, it also marks as a starting point for MPH to do future international collaboration in terms of joint activities that could benefit both parties. It was only a day trip that cost was sponsored specifically by a generous individual corporate donor.
First ever running and biking activity that was organized by MPH Construction Fund committee. The Fun Run & Ride ! Putra Heights was a program that were targetting all races in Putra Heights community. At the same time, managed to attract other enthusias runners and bikers that have been followers of Fun Run & Ride activities in Malaysia. Total participant that joined the event was 1,500 runners and bikers and with the workforce of 100 organizer personnel consist of MPH committee, police officer and UiTM Sports and Science students. The event was approved by Malaysian Government (Kerajaan Negara Malaysia) and Malaysian Sport Commisioners Office, Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS Pejabat Pesuruhjaya Sukan Malaysia). The event was officiated by Tn. Hj. Mohd Zulkurnain Bin Che Ali, Vice President of MPSJ and OCPD ACP Risikin Satiman, Subang Jaya Police Station.
MPH Construction Fund Committee brainstorming series 2 was created in order to discuss about the future direction of MPH in terms governance, organization structure, roles & responsibility and next step action items. The brainstorming session was sponsored by a corporate individuals.
JKR Construction Progress Meeting is a monthly meeting that comprises of various parties such as JKR as Project owner, Mizura Sdn. Bhd., Neuformation Architects Sdn. Bhd., MPSJ and MPH Construction Fund committee representative.
